Agriculture in the Future – Opportunities or Limitations?

The symposium will take place on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in Wageningen. The theme is: “Agriculture in the Future: Opportunities or Limitations?” During the symposium, four speakers will share their insights on the future of agriculture. From different perspectives, they will address challenges such as labor shortages, climate change, regulations, and technological innovations.

All speakers are kindly requested to address 2 or 3 of the questions listed below in their presentations, to ensure a consistent theme throughout the symposium. The content portion of the symposium will conclude with a panel discussion, during which the moderator will lead an open dialogue between the audience and the panel speakers.

Each speaker will also give a short teaser to offer a glimpse into their presentation and inspire discussion, found by clicking the names below.
